Pastor Gwen is an author, speaker, pastor, and coach who helps believers who are frustrated about missing the mark for their lives get on the right road and live out their unique design.

Gwen didn’t know when, how and from where her intense desire to write had come. For many years, Pastor Gwen wanted to write books. She felt that maybe it was part of her purpose. From a child that’s all she ever wanted to do, but life seemed to get in the way. After marriage, five children, and a list of long tiring jobs, daily duties, and many failed attempts, her energy completely depleted, Pastor Gwen all but gave up on her dream. As years flew by the dream became infected with fear and frustration. The frustration of not really living was Gwen’s constant companion. Fear filled the dream with questions of self-worth, self-doubt, lack of ability, clouded identity, and a lie from the enemy that said she would never see her dreams come to past. The more the years proved unsuccessful, the more the lie seemed like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Gwen decided if she couldn’t accomplish her dream she wouldn’t let this happen to her children. She had an uncanny ability to see into the heart of others and help them accomplish their dreams as if those dreams were hers. Each child accomplished what they dreamt. Even her husband got to benefit from her help. You could say that she lived vicariously through her family. But all the while she was dying inside, living everyone else’s life. After a cancer scare, God confirmed a Word in Joel 2:25 she had gotten from Him years before.

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

She held on to that Word with both hands. It filled her. If God said it she would believe it. She would live the life God had created for her to live. With His help step by step, she began to understand what it takes to walk into God’s design for your life. Sometimes the hardest client you have is yourself.

Now, God not only gave her the tools to walk into her gift but also extended and deepen the gifts to uncover her distinct God-given purpose, painted a complete portrait of her abilities, and gave her a platform from which she would help others. The thing about living how God designed you to live has to do with service. God puts components in you because He has a specific plan for you to live out, mostly to help someone else, and you’ll be unfulfilled until you do.

For over 25 years, Pastor Gwen continues to help other people who are stuck or drifting along through life to unearth the barriers, deeply reconnect with their passion, and begin a journey to their unique purpose. Some have written and published books opened businesses, created schools, and become teachers, and ministers. Some just needed to see clearer dispelling lies and chains that held them in place. Now they soar.

Pastor Gwen has authored four books and is currently working on a novel. She has acquired a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and is the pastor of Tree of Righteousness Christian Fellowship Church with the motto of living the free life fit, focused, and in full bloom; helping people to live free authentic lives through Christ.
